About Graceland

Our History
Graceland Thrift Store, named for “Mama Grace” Duke, opened in 1984. When Mamma Grace retired from being a houseparent at The Children’s Village, she began this ministry as a “yard sale” to raise money for the children. Thirty years later, her vision is going strong, serving the community and raising funds for The Children’s Village.

Our Mission – Helping You and Helping Kids
Graceland Thrift Store is open to the public offering high-quality, gently-used household items, clothing, and furniture. You’re invited to come and shop for bargains or bring your own gently-used items to donate. Our friendly volunteers and staff work to make your shopping experience easy and fun. And best of all – profits from Graceland Thrift Store help cover educational expenses for our children. So while you’re shopping for great bargains you’re also supporting The Children’s Village.

New and Improved Facility
In 2013, thanks to a generous donor, Graceland Thrift Store expanded into a new 12,000 sq. ft. building. The new space allows us to display more inventory and lets shoppers move more easily through the aisles. New lighting and signage also add to the improved shopping experience. Graceland Thrift Store is open from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Store hours on Thursday are 9:30 am – 7:00 pm, and on Saturday are 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays. To donate items, stop by from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday through Friday or 9:00 am – 1:30 pm on Saturday.
